Reflexology

60mins - €60.

45mins - €45.

Reflexology is a holistic treatment where the whole body is always treated. It is a non-invasive therapy. It is based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet and hands that directly correspond with glands, organs and parts of the body. The feet are seen as a map of the body. The therapist uses the thumb and fingers to stimulate reflex areas that relate to different parts of the body. Working on these reflexes can trigger physiological changes that empower the body and mind to heal itself. Reflexology works on many levels. It is a deeply relaxing therapy that stimulates the circulatory and lymphatic system. It also helps to release any blockages in the flow of energy around the body and allows energy to move freely enabling us to stay healthy. The body is divided from head to toe into ten energy zones. Energy is constantly flowing through these zones. The flow of energy terminates in the feet and hands forming reflex points. As each gland and organ is interconnected, stimulation of the reflex points in the feet will lead to improved health and a total sense of wellbeing.
